Enigin Opens Up A New Research Facility

Enigin is a large and well known energy firm that provides solutions to businesses, organizations and other firms, enabling them cut back their energy costs. A couple of weeks ago, a new research and development center was opened in the UK. The firm now has a new facility at its headquarters in St. Austell. The focus is to provide new ways of increasing energy efficiency.

Enigin, as a company, now engages in the sale, production and distribution of systems that monitor energy consumption as well as efficiency of these systems. This firm has a presence now in over 57 countries across the world and has about 23 employees working at its local offices at St. Austell. The benefit of this new facility is that it will create more employment especially to software engineers, hardware developers and electronics engineers among many others. These professionals keep increasing in number and hence the need for an expanded facility.

This is expected to lead to benefits to consumers across the world. It is a fact that the cost of energy as well as consumptions will keep rising and this will lead to increased costs and overheads. “Well, the effect it’s had as far as our business is concerned is actually dramatic but in a positive way. When you consider that we haven’t increased our budget in terms of marketing recently, yet we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the amount of inquiries we’re receiving. So, obviously people are turning to people like us for solutions. And so the down turn in economy is having a positive effect as far as our business is concerned which is not really to be, unexpected.”

Facing the competition!

In the current Energy Saving market there are a number of products available that in reality do not provide the real energy savings they claim, this may be because they have been selected and fitted erroneously or perhaps are just not effective. I started one year ago and in my opinion I didn’t have so much competition in the beginning but now I’m facing not a lot but quite a few competitors from other systems or platforms but more or less it’s always the same. So it’s giving information to the customer to make decisions to try to save energy and Enigin has done a step further in the sense that we’re giving also solutions not only monitoring but also some Real-time solutions. One of them is very powerful. It’s the CUES, in my opinion of course because it’s very easy to install. It’s quite cheap and very easy to understand. And that’s what I’m focused in. Another solution that I like very much is the iMEC In my opinion, it’s CUES and iMEC and also of course Eniscope. The core business is the Eniscope and then the other”
